Founder Sessions · Austin

Founder meetups in Austin.

A room of founders, operators, and builders from across the Austin area. Some are running funded startups, some are still building the first version on nights and weekends, and most are somewhere in between. If you are an entrepreneur anywhere in Central Texas, it is a morning worth the drive.

Next event.

What a Founder Session looks like.

A fireside conversation

One founder in conversation about what worked and what did not, with time for questions from the room.

A room of builders

Attendees are founders, operators, and people actively building, so conversations begin from shared ground rather than a sales pitch.

Coffee, and the hour after

The conversation that starts once the formal part ends is usually the reason people come back.

Before you come.

Is it free?

Yes. Our events are free to attend unless we say otherwise on the listing. Register on Luma so we know how many people to expect.

Do I need to have a startup already?

No. Plenty of people in the room are pre-idea or working on something in the evenings around a job. If you are building or seriously thinking about it, you belong there.

Do I need to apply or join anything?

MPower is a founder community. You register, you show up, and you meet the room. Anyone building is welcome at any stage.

Do you run anything besides Founder Sessions?

Founder Sessions are the monthly room in each city, and we are adding other formats.

When and where is the next one?

Friday, September 4, 2026, 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, at RE|CREATE, Theater Room, 550 Discovery Blvd., Cedar Park, TX 78613.

I am not in Austin. Is there anything near me?

We run events in Dallas as well. If you are elsewhere in Texas or further out, tell us where the founders are and we will come look.

Open to anyone building.

Founders at any stage, operators, and people still working on the first version at night. Turn up, introduce yourself, and stay for the conversation after.
